INFECTION CONTROL

At the practice, we pride ourselves in operating an excellent infection control system. We have a state of the art, dedicated Local Decontamination Unit (“LDU”) within the practice, where all our cleaning and sterilisation processes are undertaken.

We have invested in the very best of equipment, including an ultrasonic bath, a washer disinfector and two autoclaves (one vacuum and one non-vacuum). We have also ensured that our staff have been trained to the highest possible standard and work to stringent decontamination policies to ensure that all cleaning and sterilisation within the practice is completed to an excellent standard, in line with NHS guidelines.
