Ideally we are looking for a Dentist to start with us at the beginning of August 2024, so this position would be ideal if you are finishing VT this year.
Our Associate Dentist, Ross Green joined us straight out of VT in 2018 and said the following about working here at YSDC:

Our full time dentists work 4 days per week – with each full day being 8.5 hours (8.30 am – 6.00pm). The days on offer are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Both full time and part time hours would be considered and we would be happy to have discussions regarding working hours and days.
Here are the key points about the Associate Dentist vacancy:
* Ideally looking for an August 2024 start date;
* Would be ideal for someone coming out of VT (see above);
* Established patient list with excellent private potential;
* Must be GDC Registered;
* Must have an English Language certificate (where applicable) and preferably at least one year of UK experience;
* The position is Self Employed – offering a 50% split for both NHS and Private fees;
* Full & Part time days/hours considered; and
* Our emergency cover is provided through DIAL – so no on call rota.

* Fully computerised, digital radiography, OPG, iTero scanner, intra oral cameras in each surgery and Exact.
* We operate automated recalls for patients, text/email reminders, patient portal to allow patients to complete forms in advance and we have online booking – all things which help keep your appointment book fully utilised which is obviously an important consideration when you are self employed.
* Our practice is currently expanding, so there is plenty of room for development and career progression with us here at YSDC with our patient lists having excellent private potential, with many of our current Dentists having their own area of particular interest such as orthodontics, sedation, dental implants and facial aesthetics.
