Justin has been an outstanding mentor. He’s very patient, approachable and always happy to explain things clearly, no matter how busy the day is. He has a calm and reassuring approach and is always willing to talk through cases, review your work and guide you through different situations. His supportive teaching style has really helped to improve my clinical reasoning and clinical ability during my VT year. Even when things didn’t go to plan, Justin was encouraging and reassuring. You can always go to him for advice – he’s friendly, highly knowledgeable and always there to support your progress. The other dentists in the practice are also very supportive and always happy to share their experience and advice. 

Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my training year at Young Smile Dental Care and it’s helped me to become more confident and competent in everyday practice. I’m very grateful to Justin, Jill and the entire team for their support, encouragement and for creating such a positive environment that has helped me to grow both professionally and personally. 

My time here has flown by and it’s been an incredibly valuable experience that I’ll carry forward in my career. I would have loved to stay on after VT but I will be relocating to be closer to my family.
